This place is amazing! Good price, great food, tons of fun. We love getting 2 family meals with Snow Crab, Crawfish, and headless shrimp. We order the extra butter to dip in and its so good. Tips - wear a shirt you dont care about. Its buttery and delicious. You will get messy. Use their bibs and gloves, dont try to do it alone. They give them to you for a reason. Don't come with people who hate seafood, while they have stuff on their menu for them, I just would leave them behind because CRAB FEAST. As long as they steam your bag appropriately its the best seafood you'll have in a 30 mile radius of Stockton. We once got a over steamed bag of crab but they were quick to fix their mistake. Love this place. Plan on going back as many times as possible.
Absolutely incredible! Captain Crap is hands down the GREATEST thing to ever exist on this planet! I would give ANYTHING--yes, anything--to experience this masterpiece again. It's beyond amazing; it's life-changing. I find myself counting down the seconds, the minutes, the hours, just so I can come here again. It's not just a visit; it's a spiritual journey. Every moment here feels like a dream, and honestly, if I could live here, I would. Forget luxury vacations--Captain Crap is the real paradise. If you haven't been, drop everything you're doing right now and get there because you are missing out on the pinnacle of human achievement. Absolutely 10/10!
I had been driving past this location for almost year since it opened and decided to finally stop in! So glad I did. There is plenty of parking. We went in on a Saturday afternoon around 2p and we were seated right away. The restaurant is super spacious and there was plenty of room for our baby stroller next to our table. Our waitress came over right away to take our drink orders. I decided to start with a cocktail and got the Dusse sidecar. It was 10/10 amazing. We started with the shrimp appetizer which was excellent. We both decided to get seafood boils which also came out excellent. I was so surprised to see that they had blue crab as an option! I am a Marylander who grew up k blue crabs so I am always excited when I can get it on the west coast. Service was great. Restaurant was clean and safe. Will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in the mood for seafood.
